WYNN HARMON (Dr. Polsky)
With New York City Opera, he played The Detective in Porgy and Bess, which was also broadcast Live from Lincoln Center on PBS and nominated for two Emmy Awards. At Glimmerglass Festival he played James Jarvis in Lost in the Stars, Charlie Cowell in The Music Man, opposite Dwayne Croft as Harold Hill and Elizabeth Futral as Marian Paroo. He played Charlie Cowell again, when Glimmerglass Festival’s production of The Music Man went to the Royal Opera House of Muscat, Oman. He will be returning to Glimmerglass this summer in Carousel.
Off-Broadway credits include As You Like It, The New Yorkers, and Tibet Does Not Exist. In Washington, D.C. Mr. Harmon has performed at Arena Stage in The Heidi Chronicles, The Shakespeare Theatre in Love’s Labour’s Lost and The Alchemist; and at The Studio Theatre he played Neil in the U.S. premiere of Alan Bennett’s play The Habit of Art (Helen Hayes Award nomination). Mr. Harmon’s extensive regional credits include performances with Alley Theatre, Long Wharf, Hartford Stage, American Conservatory Theatre, Huntington Theatre, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, Syracuse Stage, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Capital Repertory Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, Westport Country Playhouse, Pioneer Theatre, Virginia Stage Company, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis, Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and eleven shows at The Old Globe in San Diego. He played Trevor Babcock on All My Children, and Mark in the film Paper Cranes. He is the recipient of Best Supporting Actor Awards for Jacques in As You Like It; and Antoine de St. Exupery in …35,000 Feet; and also The Edwin E. Stein Award for Excellence in the Arts.

 

Eric-KuttnerERIC KUTTNER (Avraham Millstein)
Has appeared in One Hundred Gates and Like Two Eagles at the Jewish Theater of New York, the Yiddish musical The Maiden of Ludmir at the Folksbiene, and The Baker’s Wife and Troll-Loll-La! at the Mint Theater. Other credits include Androcles in Shaw’s Androcles and the Lion at the Pirate Playhouse in Sanibel Island, Florida. He has appeared in numerous national television commercials, and wrote, edited and provided voiceovers for the documentary Leon Barzin and the National Orchestral Association. He holds an MFA in Acting from Rutgers University where he was a Levin Scholarship recipient.

 

THOMAS LEVERTON (Young Hans Weber)
trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and received his BFA from the University of Utah. Thomas is overjoyed to work with Tazewell again after their critically acclaimed production of “Red” at TheatreWorks. New York critics also praised his turn as the melancholic prince in the American Theatre for Actorsʼ uncut production of “Hamlet” and “Romeo and Juliet” for which he received the Jean

TIMOTHY ROSELLE-croppedTim Roselle (Dr. Sloane) is a New York based actor who works in film, television and the stage.  A member of Actors Equity, he has produced, directed and/or performed in over 90 productions in New York and regionally.  As a member of the SAG-AFTRA Roselle has appeared in television (Law and Order, Law and Order SVU, 30 Rock, The City, Loving, Lift Off (pilot)) in features (Bright Lights Big City, Sudden Death, Blind Spot, Canvas (spring 2014)) and in over 25 shorts including the recent, highly acclaimed “Tobacco Burn.” Most recently he appeared in the new Mario Fratti play “The Vatican Knows” at Theatre for the New City.

A director of Theatre and Opera, Mr. Thompson has directed plays by Aeschylus, Euripedes, Aristophanes, Shakespeare, Brecht, Chekhov, Aphra Behn, Williams, Shaw, Miller, Wilder, Lorca, Wilson, Mamet, Fugard, Ayckbourn, Hansberry, Wasserstein, McNally, Philip Hayes Dean, John Henry Redwood and many others. Opera credits include productions at La Scala, Paris Opera, NYC Opera, Glimmerglass, Teatro Real, Cape Town, Vancouver, San Francisco, Boston Lyric,Los Angeles and others. His production of PORGY & BESS, broadcast on PBS Live from LincolnCenter, was nominated for an EMMY Award for Best Classical Production and Best Director. At NYC Opera he directed Toni Morrison’s first opera, MARGARET GARNER. He is presently teaching and directing at Dartmouth College & directs regularly at NYU Tisch School of the Arts Grad Acting Dept. Future productions include the operas CARMEN, VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE, LOST IN THE STARS and Philip Glass’ APPOMATTOX at The Kennedy Center.

BRANDON McNEEL (Set Designer) is a New York based Scenic Designer, originally from Powell, Wyoming. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The University of Montana in beloved Missoula, Montana in 2009 and his Master of Fine Arts degree from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama. He’s most notably worked with the Montana Repertory Theatre, Chautauqua Theater Company, City Theatre – Pittsburgh, Dorset Theatre Festival, Mill City Summer Opera, and Pittsburgh Opera.

JORGE ARROYO (Lighting Designer) is a freelance lighting designer whose designs have been seen at venues such as Westport Country Playhouse, Carnegie Hall, The Public Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, La MaMa, INTAR, and others. He has designed over 50 shows at both the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and Jazz at Lincoln Center for artists such as Alicia Keys, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Jackie Mason, Paquito D’Rivera, Stanley Jordan, Rockapella, Phoebe Snow, and others. He is Clinical Specialist Faculty in Lighting Design at Montclair State University and is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829.

ROBERT FIGUEIRA (Projection Designer) is a video and lighting designer and a recent MFA graduate of the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama whose work spans the genres of Theatre, Dance, Opera, Film, and Music. Recent designs include Dark Sisters at Pittsburgh Opera, Capture/Release with Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, and Legacy Falls at the 2013 New York Musical Theater Festival. Inspired by European classical music of the early 20th century, the music of Diamond Eaters reinforces the stark drama of this unusual tale of Holocaust survival.

NataliaSawladyParuzNatalia ‘Saw Lady’ Paruz (vocals in Diamond Eater) – The December 3rd 2011 ‘Washington Post’ crossword puzzle had Paruz as a question: “Down 5 – Instrument played by Natalia Paruz”. Founder/director of the NYC Musical Saw Festival, columnist of the ‘Saw Player News’ and a judge at international musical saw competitions.
Paruz played the musical saw on many film soundtracks and can be seen as well as heard in the movie ‘Dummy’ starring Adrien Brody. She has performed with orchestras such as the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (conducted by Zubin Mehta), the Westchester Philharmonic, the Royal Air Moroccan Symphony Orchestra, the Amor Artis Orchestra, the Riverside Orchestra, the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra and at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall with PDQ Bach composer Peter Schickele and with the Little Orchestra Society. November 2007 marked her Carnegie Hall debut and June 2008 marked her Madison Square Garden debut. Her musical saw can be heard in many TV commercials and she has appeared on numerous TV and radio programs around the world.
